Richard J. Eisen – Copresents a Best Selling Course: Complex Assets in Divorce

Richard J. Eisen was recently selected to copresent a CLE course through the National Business Institute which was rated a Best Seller. Recognizing that one of the largest, most complex aspects of divorce is the distribution of assets and debts, Rick utilized and shared his legal and financial expertise to help other attorneys navigate through the process.  The webinar was recorded and made available to others who were unable to attend as well as provide a resource for future reference. Among the topics discussed were:

  • Avoiding the costly asset division traps that cause your client to miss out on what they deserve;
  • Negotiate and structure the division of second homes and investment property;
  • Analyze tax records to locate hidden and overlooked assets, income and debt;
  • Explore how trusts are divided in a divorce; and
  • Use QDROs and other tools to value and divide complex retirement plans and accounts.

Here is what a couple of the attendees of the webinar had to say about the material presented:

“I enjoyed the practice tips which were mentioned by all speakers throughout various topics. One can never hear too many!”

“I enjoyed all three speakers. I am an advanced family law practitioner (31 years) and found all three gentlemen to be well informed, articulate and interesting.  I appreciated that the level of discussion was not basic.”
